Case Studies


Babies and Airplanes 

EdTags have been successfully integrated in many industries.

In the Meno Ya Win Hospital in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, maternal support workers upload a photo of themselves dressed properly for a C-section.  They can also easily watch video of proper baby bathing techniques right where they assist with the bath.

At the Aviation Centre of Excellence (ACE), in Sudbury, Ontario, students view content on proper safety techniques and rules for operating heavy equipment right in their work environment.  Students can access a quick reminder of the SAFE way to operate something without needing one-on-one attention.  EdTags deliver learning where and when it’s needed.


Remote locations/low bandwidth


The advances in inexpensive and powerful portable computers over the last few years have been amazing. By using these computers, it’s now possible to deliver EdTag applications even in places that have slow or no Internet connectivity.

Computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, that can fit into the palm of your hand, can be installed almost anywhere with just an AC plug, with no setup. These computers provide their own WiFi networks.

Combined with the Workbay system running inside, these become very powerful computing systems “in a box” – or as we like to call them, EdServers.
